Job Brief: Mechanical Source Inspection: In-Process and Final

Experience with the following:

• Mechanical Inspection of Aerospace Parts

• Review Special Process Coating application and process documentation

• Knowledge of special process coatings (Such as: High Velocity Oxygen Feed (HVOF) spray coating, Thermal Spray, Plasma Spraying, Wire Arc Spraying or High Velocity Air Fuel) - Preferred

• Review Purchase Order Quality Flow Down Requirements and Special Instructions along with supporting documentation

• Completion of customers inspection record forms

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, welded, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft structures.

• Knowledge of Standard Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment

• Understanding and competence with Complex Engineering Drawings/Parts Lists/ANSI 14.5 GD&T and Associated Documents

• Inspection Reports/FAI(s)/Travelers/Certifications/Standards-Specifications
