Job Role:

Your experience as Aircraft Mechanical Fitter will have an immediate impact on my client. You will be required to manufacture details, sub-assemblies and major assemblies and complete system and aircraft test.

Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture details to drawings and work instructions (process layouts, PI sheets, IETB instructions etc.)
Assemble details into aircraft sub-assemblies
Assemble sub-assemblies and details into major structures or assemblies
Install Aircraft Systems i.e. Fuel, Pitot Static, Hydraulic, Floatation, Fire Detection, Fire Suppressant, Air start and Environmental
Install Aircraft Control Systems
Rig Flying Controls to drawing requirements
Check Fuel systems for leakage
Dis-assemble and re-assemble aircraft systems/ parts for conversion aircraft to work instructions and drawings
Dress engines for installation
Fit and adjust aircraft panels, hatch covers and doors
Inspection approval(s) in accordance with Training Programme for Inspection Approval - WA4198. Module B, C and D

Experience required
Either fixed wing or rotary wing experience considered
Must have completed the relevant civil or military apprenticeship or have a relevant Level 3 NVQ/C&G/BTEC associated with this, or if ex forces relevant supporting Discharge certificates or Certificates of Service
