Job Role:
Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop and deliver new products, processes and technologies for an Aviation Company based in Bournemouth
As part of an Integrated Team you will contribute to the detailed mechanical design of mechanical parts, the assessment, analysis and simulation of the environmental (vibration, shock, thermal) parameter and requirements, and thermal performance (heat generation and dissipation) of the product from component through to integrated system.
Responsibilities of a Mechanical Design Engineer
· Identify where SHE Standards are applicable and apply safe systems of work
· Progress mechanical design elements of a project
· Application of discipline domain knowledge to the design
· Development and delivery of new products, processes and technologies on time, within budget and with required quality
· Working to engineering framework, LCM and regulatory requirements
· Improve discipline processes, practices and tools
· Collaborate to address project requirements
· Provide the necessary documentation required by the Design Office
