Maternity Relief Customer Service Officer

Regional Express (Rex) is Australia’s largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of more than 50 Saab 340 aircraft on some 1,500 weekly flights to 58 destinations throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.

Expressions of interest are sought for a suitably qualified individual to join the Regional Express Sydney Airport Team in the role of a Part-Time Relief Customer Service Officer.

Reporting
This position reports to the Sydney Airport Manager.

Position Responsibility
•Provide check-in activities for Regional Express services at Sydney Airport.
•Reservation and ticket sales including collection of monies.
•Pre and post flight duties.
•Editing flights.
•Sales reporting and recording functions as appropriate.
•Dispatch of aircraft.
•Computer system operations (SABRE).
•Boarding Control including airside security.
•Other procedures and activities determined on a local basis where appropriate. (eg Rex lounge) and
•Comply with requirements set out in the company’s safety policy and standard operating procedures.
•Ability to complete driving duties if required and obtain an Air Side Drivers Licence

Essential Selection Criteria
•Previous customer service experience essential.
•Able to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings and weekend work.
•Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).
•Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to on time performance.
•Well developed written and oral communication skills.
•Computer literacy of a high degree.
•Ability to work unsupervised.
•Current NSW RSA
•Current NSW Drivers Licence
