** Materials & Logistics Manager Required **
Are you a highly motivated individual within the Aerospace / Aviation industry currently? Do you come from a strong Logistics background? If so this position as a Materials and Logistics Manager with one of our reputable aerospace clients could be perfect for you!
** This role is based in UK**
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Understand supply chain dynamics and set inventory with optimal cost and delivery trade-offs.
- Establish stocking policies and planning parameters for all parts – Plan for Every Part
- For sites with defense contracts, ensure FAR and MMAS compliance as required.
- Developing and implementing robust, multi-year supply chain and material planning strategies to support the Business Unit goals and to support corporate Supply Chain initiatives.
- Develop strategic plans to drive site to 5X inventory turns, conducting RCPS and associated projects to drive inventory improvement.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through various techniques
- Establishing and managing relationships with freight forwarders, international shipping companies and couriers, in accordance with business standards
To be considered for the role you must have;
- A relevant qualification in distribution, logistics and transportation
- Previous experience of managing stores and dispatch environments
- Experience of managing an area containing ESD components
