Material Pricing Analyst II Madison MS

Estimates material costs based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customers. Completes analysis of specifications and bills of material to calculate material pricing schedules. Collects cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors. Computes cost estimates of raw materials or subcontracted work. Prepares and maintains historical cost data. Creates cost models for cost estimating elements. Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors. Researches and reviews historical data and develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings. Participates in pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
