Mandarin Open Source Researcher

National security is vital to our nation. ZENETEX provides expert, in-depth support services for the Intelligence Community across the full tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) process with specialized skills and expertise. We have an immediate opportunity for a qualified academic researcher with Mandarin Language skills to support a major intelligence agency based in Suitland, MD. This position will require an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may also be offered.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidates

-Will have experience doing Academic Research.

-Will have a Mandarin reading score of 3.

Education and Experience Requirements

Candidates must have a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility to be considered for this position.

Required qualifications:

* Demonstrate the ability to read and understand scientific technical lexicon
* Minimum 3 years of in-depth research experience
* DLPT reading score of 3 (Mandarin) (will need to verify)
* Clear written and oral communication skills
* One year experience with MS Office and SharePoint software

Desired qualifications:

* Demonstrated familiarity with general academic databases and scientific journals and repositories
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an academic researcher
* A degree in Information and / or Library Science

Security Clearance

* This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI and SCI eligibility.
