About The Job

This job is a member of the Integrating Marketing Team within the Marketing, Loyalty, and Sales Division. This position will be responsible for managing a team of professionals that are accountable for local and international markets, marketing campaign and program execution and marketing insights and analytics.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* Develops domestic and international integrated strategies and execution plans to drive business results. B2B and B2C integrated global campaigns that drive the business forward. Additionally responsible for Global brand positioning, domestic and internationally

* Expands global strategic partnerships that build awareness and shift perceptions

* Conducts strategic brand planning

* Analyzes every aspect of the AA brand to develop a memorable market identity that communicates who we are and what we do

* Uses insights and analytics to drive results

* Brand, product and network advertising on a global scale, including media buying and sports contracts

* Expands local market activation, including competitive and international markets

* Manages agency relationships and an internal creative services innovation team

* Broadens production of campaigns and assets

* Leads all core business and marketing functions associated with AA.com and AA Vacations, including web analytics, online content management, cross- sell, advertising, promotions, email communications and customer service – with the focus on enhancing AAG revenue and profit generation

* Collaborates with Digital, Loyalty, and Sales on cross-functional product development & deployment. Provide B2B sales support

* Leads customer communication strategy and digital communications that upsell/cross-sell merchandising opportunities; customer lifecycle communications

* Leads centers-of-excellence marketing at Dallas Ft. Worth headquarters to support regional & international sales & marketing

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

* 6 years’ experience in multiple marketing and business functions

* 3 years’ experience leading large teams with diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA

* Previous Managing Director, or commensurate, experience

* Ability to generate creative solutions to complex problems

* Highly collaborative, with the ability to form consensus and work with departments throughout the company to address operational and business challenges

* Passion for innovation, speed to market, and team-based solution development, with a proven track record of customer focused initiatives

* Demonstrated aptitude in management of teams and ability to develop and train new managers

* Outstanding presentation skills (development and delivery)

* Ability to identify and implement creative and innovative solutions to complex problems

* Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis and adjust priorities, as necessary, to meet shifting deadlines in a dynamic work environment

* Ability to not only collaborate at all levels of the organization in order to achieve results but to influence others to do so as well; strong leadership skills

* Results orientation via proven effective management skills and the ability to deliver results on time and within budget
