Job description

• Ensuring instructor suitability for NUK training programs, instructor scheduling issues and instructors pilot currency requirements.

• Ensure, through spot-checks or standardization briefings, that all instructors maintain a high level of competence and knowledge in their field of instruction as well as their ability to convey their knowledge to their students.

• Ensure that the department produces all necessary training syllabus, compendiums, training aids in accordance with regulations and company standards.

• Supporting the company in the development of all necessary new and updated courseware.

• Ensure through oversight that NUK’s partners deliver crew training and associated activities which meet the criteria and standards as defined under agreements for contracted activities.

• Report any training problems or conflicts to DFO.

• Arrange meetings for simulator instructors and the Line Training Captains.

• Ensure that the Operations Manual Part D -Training (OM-D) kept current and updated.

• Ensure that all pilots are optimally scheduled for their recurrent training.

• Perform annual supervision and standardisation checks on all instructors and examiners.

• To manage and lead the team members of the NUK Training Department.

Qualifications

• A current license preferably with a B787 rating or proven long haul ETOPs experience.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven strong administrative, management and organizational skills.

• Enjoy working in a team in a dynamic and fasted paced organization.

• Safety Management System Knowledge.

• Good IT skills.
