Manager Strategic Negotiations and Contracting

The role as Manager Strategic Negotiations and Contracting will be a part of the Strategic Contracting team. The Strategic Contracting team is an important part of the SAS Corporate and Agent Sales organization, with the main responsibility to secure best possible commercial deals with SAS’ major corporate customers and agents to secure future profitable revenue both in corporate and leisure segments. The position will report to Head of Strategic Contracting.

Main Tasks:

* Secure implementation of optimal commercial frameworks and agreements with major Corporate customers and Agents

* Secure positive development of profitability through Corporate customers and Agents

* Use SAS’ standardized negotiation and contracting process to enable the Corporate and Agent Sales organization to reach the set sales targets

* Overall responsibility for negotiation of major agreements in Corporate and Agent Sales channels (B2B & Agent)

* Participate in the establishment of a new pre-negotiation structure and pro-actively advise regional key account managers of the processes

* Continuously maintain and secure relevant knowledge of the areas of responsibility through market and customer analysis, as well as establish relationships with preferred Corporate customers and Agents in relevant markets

* Continuous target setting and securing compliance of Corporate and Agent Sales contracting process, Cost of Sale development and legal requirements

* Conduct analyses requested by Head of Strategic Contracting, or as part of the development and execution of strategic initiatives in the Corporate and Agent Sales organization

* Secure internal and external prerequisites, clear interfaces and cooperation

* Contribute to the Digitalization of Corporate and Agent Sales

Experience and competencies:

* Relevant University Degree or corresponding experience gained elsewhere

* Extensive experience from advanced negotiations and experience from handling complex agreements on executive level

* Experience from project management in sales and/or purchasing organization with proven track record of delivering results with a winning team spirit

* Experience from price/cost/profitability assessments and RFP/RFI processes

* Preferably experience from Agent and/or B2B markets

* Preferably overall knowledge of LOU/LUF/SKI/Lov om offentlige anskaffelser or similar legislations and overall knowledge of GDPR and competition regulations

* Competence in areas such as Corporate Booking Tools (CBT), Saleability, Distribution, NDC and Digitalization is a major advantage

* Excellent communication skills and verbal and written presentation technique, in both English and the Scandinavian languages

* Strategic thinking with ability to constantly seek improvements and break through targets
