Responsibilities

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

* Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company.
* Serve as subject matter expert on Occupational Safety and Health Administration issues and programs.
* Direct the workflow of the Safety Programs Team and Field Services Team and provides opportunity for developing bench and/or Leadership strength on the Team.
* Provides oversight for the development and implementation of Company Safety Programs and projects.
* Fosters positive relationships and serves as a liaison between the Company and governmental agencies, as well as representing the Company within industry workgroups.
* Serves as a Company Safety resource and is assigned to the Safety Support Line as required by Leadership.

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.

May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

*
High School Diploma or equivalency required.

*
Bachelor Degree preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

* 5 years Safety experience required.
* 3-5 years aviation experience preferred.
* Minimum of 1 year Leadership experience required.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

* OSHA 10 or 30 hour certificate/card required.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

* Must be able to lift and/or move items of 50 pounds on a periodic basis.
* Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a periodic basis.
* 20-40% travel with potential for increased/decreased travel based on Safety & Security Department needs.
* May require extended work hours per Leader request.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

* 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
* Possess high degree of knowledge regarding occupational regulation and resources.
* Able to read, interpret and articulate state/federal/international regulation.
* Able to develop and execute comprehensive, effective project and program plans.

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information.     

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
