As part of the Changi East Standards & Safety team, you will be supporting the planning functions in development and deployment of safety related frameworks, policies and initiatives. This role requires the candidate to possess strong administrative and presentation skills. This multi-faceted role will also require you to plan out safety audits as well as work closely with key stakeholders to harmonise risk assessments for consistency of safety processes and issues across relevant Changi East work packages. You will also be involved in the conduct of audit on the safety training records of the contractors, review risk assessments of contractors and consultants and audit risk registers. You will also work with the relevant agencies to plan for emergency responses and to exercise these plans during ground emergency exercises. You will need to liaise within Changi East Project Development teams, airport stakeholders and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. You will be reporting direct to the head of the Standards & Safety Unit and work alongside with several other managers in supporting the safety and operation oversight framework and implementation of control measures



Job Requirements

· Degree in any discipline preferably in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in related industry

· Preferably registered as a Workplace, Safety & Health Officer

· Knowledge of construction safety or aerodrome safety is an advantage

· Able to work shift, when required

· Good communication skills and a strong team player

· This is a 3-year contract position
