This announcement is for a Manager of Quality Assurance Systems with Ravn Air Group. This
position reports to the Chief Inspector (CI) for Ravn Connect and is responsible for providing
oversight of the Quality Assurance Systems at the base level. The successful candidate will
have a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, excellent communication skills, and a
high attention to detail.

This is a non-exempt, full time, benefits-eligible position. Position typically works four 10-hour
days per week in Palmer, however overtime may be required as dictated by business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
 High School Diploma/GED required, college education is preferred;  Three years of experience with A&P Certificate, ideally on relevant aircraft;  One year or more of supervisory/management experience;  Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel and database software;  Effective oral and written communication skills;  Excellent organizational skills;  Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality;  Must be able to identify, resolve and/or escalate problems in a timely manner;  Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully;  Able to manage time and plan work accordingly, without direct supervision;  Able to collaborate on work projects with other team members and/or other departments;  Comfortable expressing ideas and presenting projects and results in front of an audience;  Able to pass a background check;  Comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with

operating aircraft.

Duties & Responsibilities  Responsible for the tracking and documentation of all calibrated tools at Palmer base and ensuring the

information is supplied to the Chief Inspector on a monthly basis;

 Serve as Quality Assurance Representative at Palmer base for matters involving airworthiness

standards for the aircraft maintained at the Palmer facilities;  Responsible for the management of Required Inspection Items (RII) and Dual Inspection Item (DII)

personnel in Palmer; elevates issues to the CI when circumstances dictate;  Responsible to participate in the conduct of training as required for RII, DII, Airworthiness Release

(AWR) and other areas as directed by the CI;  Assist the CI in the analysis and development of revisions to Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance

Program (CAMP) and Approved Aircraft Inspection Program (AAIP) programs;  Perform Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS), Nine or Less Aircraft (NOLA) and

Outside Maintenance Provider (OMP) on site audits when directed by the CASS Manager or CI;  Coordinates with the CI and Maintenance Supervisor, the application for engineering data when

needed for the performance of repairs to aircraft;  Responsible for the analysis of discrepancies which have been coded as Maintenance (M) in the data

collection process of CASS and NOLA systems; notify the Director of Maintenance (DM) and the CI

when trends are discovered and assist mitigation planning for identified trends when needed;  Shall attend CASS and NOLA monthly and annual meetings and participate in the gathering of data or

compiling of reports for those meetings when directed by the CASS Manager;  Assist in the performance of aircraft conformity inspections using company conformity procedures;  Supervise/lead the Records Department by overseeing a team of ten employees;  Performs basic duties of Quality Assurance Inspector when needed;  Other duties as assigned and within the scope of this position.
