Job Role:

Task Responsibilities:

• Ensure the organization, administration, and control of the Flight Operations Support department consisting of Dispatch, Operations Control, Navigation, Performance, Landing & Overflight sections
• Develop and implement tools and procedures to ensure that flights are planned in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies in a safe and efficient manner
• Develop and implement tools and procedures to ensure the provision of flight following and inflight support
• Oversee the provision of aircraft performance data, navigational data and the approval process for overflight and airport slots
• Maintain contact with providers, analyze and evaluate systems, tools and service enhancements in order to develop and improve the department’s standards in terms of safety, operational excellence and efficiency.  
• Support the company’s business objectives by providing route and fleet analysis
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and effective teamwork, oversee the training and drive the development of the department’s team members.  

Essential Requirements For The Position:

• Degree in Air Transport Management or equivalent experience
• Flight Dispatcher license or equivalent with good knowledge of EASA regulations
• At least 10 years relevant aviation experience in Flight Operations related to worldwide flight operations with experience in a leadership role
• Ability to manage and lead a team in a multicultural environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Be computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Experience in operating the following software systems will be considered as an advantage: Lido Flight planning, AIMS, WSI Fusion / Optima, Honeywell one Nav +, SITA/AFTN, Jeppesen Jeppview / E-link, Boeing OPT

Working Conditions:

• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• Position based in Luxembourg
