Manager Fleet Planning

This position will be expected to work cross functionally with the operations, maintenance, marketing and legal groups to support changes to the Sun Country fleet.

Essential Functions:

* Build and maintain financial models for use in evaluating potential aircraft acquisition opportunities. This will require Manager to have a strong knowledge of the economics of aircraft ownership including financing methods, leasing terms and conditions, maintenance lifecycle costs, induction and return requirements, etc.

* Assist in aircraft sourcing by developing and maintaining contacts with aircraft sellers, lessors, OA fleet groups and others to ensure a steady stream of aircraft acquisition opportunities to consider. Develop a database of available aircraft in the global market that is kept up-to-date and can serve as a ready reference when we are seeking to add new aircraft.

* Evaluate potential new aircraft for fit within the Sun Country network. This will require close coordination with the network planning group. Assist in the development and maintenance of route profitability tools by providing up-to-date aircraft ownership and operating costs to marketing team.

* Develop and maintain close relationship with aircraft and engine OEMs.

* Work closely with senior finance leadership to secure financing for new aircraft. Support VP Fleet Planning and SCA General Counsel in negotiations with sellers and lessors.

* Present analysis results and recommendations to CEO, CFO and COO, among other senior company leaders. Support development of capital requests for presentation to the board of directors.

* Track fleet plan changes and prepare materials for weekly fleet planning meetings held with C-level executives.
