Job Role:

The Manager of Crew Tracking Operations provides strategic, operational, project, and training support with the goal of maximizing operational performance and effective IROP management. The position requires innovation, process focus, analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to develop the people, tools and processes to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness in the OCC crew space. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to bring out of the box thinking to the team and have successful cross functional coordination experience. This candidate should have a track record of people development alongside solid results. A comfort with senior leaders and an ability to formulate and articulate strategy is also required for this visible role. The position is based in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities
* Leads and develops a diverse, high-performing, and innovative Crew Tracking team

* Builds strong working relationships with coworkers, direct reports, customers (internal and external), partners and company leaders

* Leads the continual refinement and progression of the Crew Tracking MOS (Management Operating System) as well as day to day and IROP processes

* Provides direct support in the planning and implementation of operational strategies, and seeks continual operational improvements and efficiencies.

* Participates and contributes to crew related initiatives including One Delta, CrewMod, FORT, Digital Transformation, and Crew Reroute Optimization

* Collaborates with senior leaders to support operations through metrics and the application of statistical principles to drive change and behavior

* Drives, executes, and communicates change strategies throughout the organization

* Exercises critical thinking and strong decision-making skills to achieve the annual Flight Plan goals

* Promotes high morale through an awareness of company and department policies, employee development programs, and periodic department meetings for the two-way communication of ideas, goals and objectives

* Ensures highest levels of customer service is provided to the company and its customers

* Develops both strategic & tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety & well-being

Job Qualifications:

* Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Technology or related field preferred

* At least 2 or more years of operational or crew experience such as Crew Tracking, Scheduling, Planning, Dispatching, or Airline Operations experience required

* Previous leadership experience strongly preferred

* Project management and technology implementation experiences preferred

* Must have presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, positive attitude and able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment

* Must be strategic, dynamic, detail-oriented and impactful. The ideal candidate should be an analytical thinker, self-starter and quick learner

* Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time and on budget

* Must have strong business acumen, statistical, and analytical skills, and excellent communication skills with senior management, employees, FAA Reps, vendors, customers

* Demonstrable experience with conflict resolution, problem solving and have the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy

* Must also convey a professional image with ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels within the organization

* Must be available to lead the team during major IROP events including nights and weekends

* Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
