Job description

- Ensure common practices across the AOCs and push towards a common standard for crew planning and efficient use of crew across the Group’s AOCs

- Nominated representative for delivery of crew planning services to the AOCs in accordance with the applicable ACAs (Agreed Contracted Activities) and relevant rules and regulations

- The AOCs main contact point, and will represent Crew Management in meetings with the AOCs with regards to crew planning

- Responsible for the delivery of KPI reports to the AOCs regularly

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders

- Daily manager for the Crewplan Department including planning of training, roster planning and replanning

- Manage assessment, training and authorisation of crew plan staff, and at all times ensure adequate manning of the Crew Plan Department. Manager Crew Plan holds daily staff liability within the department

- Develop and update relevant processes and routines for Crew Plan

- Support Manager Crew Management in matters related to crew planning

- Acquire and maintain advanced knowledge of rule and regulations set by relevant governing authorities

Qualifications

- Proven successful managerial experience working with senior stakeholders in a high paced, dynamic and performance oriented matrix organization

- Experienced in managing team performance through the use of business metrics

- Relevant education on Master-level or similar, and/or experience from similar positions

- Fluent written and spoken command of English

- An understanding of risk management

- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to structure and communicate complex problems

- Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office

- Ability to continuously improve key processes and look for cost efficient improvements

- A strong understanding of applicable rules and regulations set forth by relevant governing authorities

- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance commercial and operational needs
