MANAGER CAMG

PNG Air is seeking a suitable qualified aviation professional to manage our Continuing Airworthiness Management Group.

Reporting to the CEO, your primary responsibilities, include (but are not limited to):

• Maintenance Control - ensuring PNG Air aircraft, and the installed equipment, are maintained in accordance with a CASA PNG approved customised maintenance programme established in accordance with the procedures in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Manual and all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is carried out IAW the all applicable airworthiness legislation.

• Forecasting and Planning - managing the systems that are necessary to plan and ensure accomplishment of required maintenance and liaising with the Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO).RO (who carries out the maintenance)

• Regulatory Compliance and Approvals - issuing Special Flight Permits in accordance with the CASA PNG approved continuing authorisation.

In order to be considered for this position, you must be a have a suitable aviation technical qualification, or be a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer (experience with Dash 8s or ATRs will be highly desirable). Furthermore, you must suitable to be approved as a Fit and Proper Person by CASA.

To excel in this position, you will behave an effective leader and manager, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.

Experience in a multicultural work environment will be highly regarded.

This position is available as:

• Full time PNG based (preferred); or

• Monday to Friday in PNG, commuting from Cairns or Brisbane (for Australian Residents).
