Description

Reporting to Senior Manager, Business Solutions & Systems Development (BSSD), the incumbent will be responsible for:

- Handling a number of Application Change Requests for IATA FDS Operations systems (front & back end systems) related with the project of Transparency in Payments (TIP)

- Providing subject matter expertise and system support in relation with the DPC system and activities;

- Other support activities in the department of BSSD

Responsibilities

Handle a number of Application Change Requests (ACR) for IATA systems in scope of Transparency in Payments (TIP) projects or BSSD team

Manage ACRs (change request) for operations and projects ensuring that IATA and external stakeholders business needs are covered. Effectively deal with DPC system providers

The above task include defining technical specifications, manage the budget and test the developments of external providers

Provide expertise and act in coordination with the rest of project team

Contribute to building, maintaining and updating the knowledge base for supporting systems. Control, develop and maintain all internal/external documentation for business requirements, procedures, work instruction and user guides;

Act as a backup for Senior Manager, Business solutions & Systems Development

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or equivalent experience;

Minimum of 7 years’ experience of working in the Air Transport Industry, with understanding and experience of the BSP and CASS Billing and Reporting activities or equivalent experience in other sectors. Experience with BSP processes/systems is a plus

Knowledge on the IATA rules and resolutions;

System development expertise combined to Customer Support skills;

Proven stakeholder management skills as well as experience in operations and/or major projects;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work very well internationally and cross-culturally;

Proactive spirit with the ability to think “out of the box” and drive for continuous process improvement;

Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills in English;

A proven team player with a strong positive attitude, energy, and result oriented.
