Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for decision making by the business development team, including customer account management and strategy. Includes customer, competitor, and industry data.

Role supports development of long-range business objectives and strategic plans by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability of several groups including Landing Systems, Actuation Systems, Propeller Systems, Cargo, and Hoist & Winch. Also supports improvement of key customer relationships and performance through creation of a customer engagement plan and monitoring progress to resolving customer performance issues.

Requires analysis of environment for business opportunities and surveillance of the market. Monitors and highlights public information sources for market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and due diligence to position the business for growth.

Responsible for development and review of business processes to support execution of strategies and customer relationships and performance. Identifies opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis and works with the UTAS Digital Strategy team to implement improvements to the process.

Coach and develop analysts from cross functional teams at Landing Systems, Actuation Systems, Propeller Systems, Cargo, and Hoist & Winch sites to embed the strategic planning and customer performance skill set across the organization.

Qualification:
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
* Strong business acumen to approach business issues from multiple functional and or operational perspectives.
* Strong problem solving ability to identify innovative solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
* Superior interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills, ability to effectively present ideas to senior leadership and influence key decision makers.
* Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
* Excellent research skills utilizing both public information sources and commissioned reports to form data backed business perspectives.
* Ability to work under pressure, handle ambiguity and change.
* Strong bias for action with ability to product results. Strong teamwork, collaboration skills.
* Superior skillset in the use of analytical and digital tools for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting

Education:
* Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience.
* Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
