Maintenance Planning Manager

Maintenance Planning Manager Mission Manage, coordinate and supervise the Brussels Airlines maintenance planning. Tasks * Ensure all Brussels Airlines Part145 maintenance activities are planned and prepared in due time and that required resources are available allowing to execute and complete those maintenance activities within the available timeframes. This requires close coordination with various internal and external departments such as engineering, logistics, fleet, production, operations, network, … * Plan and prepare all Brussels Airlines outsourced base maintenance activities in coordination with the M&E fleet strategic planning department * Responsible for the Brussels Airlines outstation maintenance support set-up, contracts and follow-up; insourced third party maintenance contracting and follow-up, and special projects involving M&E production and/or planning departments * Analyse, define and implement procedures, applications and tools both intra- and inter-department (logisitics-engineering-planning-production) in order to constantly optimize the maintenance activities by improving the workload versus manpower capacity match, minimizing downtimes, maximizing allowed maintenance intervals. * Responsible for the preparation of the seasonal Brussels Airlines M&E production plan based on network planning and maintenance programs Profile * Industrial or Civil Engineer - Min. Bachelor degree Aviation (or equivalent by experience) * Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience in production, planning or engineering functions. * People manager, communicator and team player * Strong negotiator as well on financial as technical fields * Ability to translate strategic vision into project plans and tangible time phased actions * Knowledge of cost accounting and investment analysis and the impact on the Profit & Loss accounts and balance sheet of a company * Administrative and analytical skills * Good IT skills: Ms Office, databases * Good language skills: Fluent in English and Dutch, good level of French
