Maintenance Planning Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our Maintenance organization as a Maintenance Planning Analyst at our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio.  This position plans and develops comprehensive maintenance schedules for assigned aircraft types.  The Maintenance Planning Analyst reports to the Director of Internal Services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Flexjet personnel on all engine, refurbishment and modification requirements
• Maximize aircraft availability and minimize aircraft downtime
• Notify Supply Chain personnel of upcoming part requirements
• Coordinate flat rate tracking and reporting procedures with administrative personnel
• Cognizant of changing airframe maintenance and inspection requirements and adjusting maintenance schedules accordingly
• Perform continued analysis and scheduling of AD’s and SB’s as applicable to specific fleet types
• Maintain the maintenance tracking template for a specific fleet type and keep all requirements current
• Coordinate with the QA department on revisions to the inspection manual for a specific fleet type
• Provide assistance to team members during absences and peak workload periods as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 5 Years directly related aviation experience required (corporate aircraft experience preferred)
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P) preferred
• Knowledge of Flexjet Air Carrier fleets strongly desirable
• Working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s) a plus

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs
• Successful candidate must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively independently or as a team member
• Successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and a self starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment with a strong attention to detail
