Zenon are currently searching for a Maintenance Controller for an opportunity based with a maintenance operation based in the Pacific Region with a leading aviation charter service company

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the organisation’s aircraft and installed equipment are maintained in accordance with CASA approved maintenance program established in accordance with Company Exposition
- Supervision and direction of the Technical Support Staff
- Managing systems necessary to plan and ensure accomplishment of required maintenance so that airworthiness limitation is not exceeded, including rectification of defects, embodiment of modifications and repairs and compliance with airworthiness directives.
- Ensuring aircraft inducted into the fleet are checked for compliance with the applicable minimum equipment requirements.
- Implementing maintenance schedules, and keeping current the maintenance and airworthiness section of the technical library.
- Ensuring, as far as possible, MEL conditions and limitations are adhered to;
- Advising the CEO aircraft to be withdrawn from service when required.
- Management and application of a tracking system to record and monitor and record the status of aircraft, engines and components, including periodic inspections, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, component finite and overhaul lives and other maintenance events specified in the maintenance program;
- When authorised by CEO, Liaising directly with CASA on matters relating to airworthiness;
- Ensuring continuous airworthiness data issued by aircraft manufacturers in the form Service Bulletins and similar is assessed and acted upon where necessary
