Position - Maintenance Control Engineer

Location – Hampshire

 

Oaklands Global has an exciting new position for a  Maintenance Control Engineer working with an International Business Jets organisation based in Hampshire.

My client is one of the  world’s leading aviation services companies with bases in 17 countries across the globe. Its services include line and base maintenance, FBO services, engineering design; aircraft management, charter operations, and aviation and ground management systems.

As the Maintenance Control Engineer, you will responsible for ensuring that aircraft within fleet are maintained. You are responsible for monitoring aircraft and overseeing maintenance and any that may require maintenance.

It is important that you are able to work closely multiple department: Flight Operations, maintenance vendors etc.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all out-of-service for maintenance aircraft are repaired in a timely manner.
  • Proactively seek to maintain the aircraft availability and reduce impact of maintenance to operations.
  • Assign maintenance personnel, including vendors, the correct performance of aircraft repairs and overseeing repair efforts as well as maintaining communication on repair status.
  • Co-ordinate and issue work packages for scheduled, unscheduled, and Line Maintenance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance vendors to plan, execute, oversee, and document maintenance events.
  • Ensure all departments affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of the aircraft.
  • Review aircraft records and tracking to ensure compliance with maintenance programs.
  • Ensure proper documentation of the work performed on aircraft prior to approval of the aircraft for return-to-service

 

In depth knowledge and experience in systems and troubleshooting maintenance either as a Licensed Engineer or experienced non-certifying staff with training on one or more of the following manufacturers aircraft types; Challenger or Global Express, Cessna Citations, Beechcraft, King Air, Falcon and Gulfstream.
