Job Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Control Manager, the Maintenance Control Engineer is responsible for the control and co-ordination of maintenance activities on all operational aircraft in the Jet2.com fleet.
You will provide a central point of contact for Engineers and Aircrew, remaining informed of the technical status of the fleet and any disruptions to the schedule due to technical issues. You will initiate corrective actions for delays and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations ensuring prompt rectification and minimal disruption. The Maintenance Control Engineer provides a key link between Engineers and Operational Teams, co-ordinating technical assistance and spares, issuing line maintenance work requests and evaluating manpower needs.

In addition, you will ensure that planned maintenance is carried out as scheduled. After a period of training, it is expected that this position will work to a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
The successful candidate will hold an EASA Part 66 License or equivalent Aviation related qualification. You will have experience in aviation maintenance and planning activities and have ideally worked with the aircraft types operated by Jet2.com. You will be proactive and have excellent organisation skills, as well as strong communication skills verbally and in writing.
