Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Bohemia Long Island has an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Electrician Technicians on 1st shift.

This is a full-time hourly role where the successful candidates will be expected to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair machine operations.

Essential Responsibilities

* Diagnose and repair machine tool operational failures
* Maintain machines in a state of repair consistent with their assigned tasks as required
* Use electrical and /or mechanical testing/diagnostic equipment to determine the state of a machine tool
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems associated with various machine parts.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on various machines

Position Requirements

To perform this job successfully, requires 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience as a machine maintenance mechanic. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints for various machines.

Education and Experience

* High school diploma desired but not mandatory.
