Expressions of interest are sought for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to become part of the Sydney Airport Team at Regional Express as a part-time Lounge Porter on a 12-month contract.

Reporting
This position reports to the Airport Manager and Customer Service Coordinator.

Position Responsibility
•Assist in movement of passengers from terminal to aircraft via company vehicles and bus.
•Assist in collection and handling of arriving and departing Unaccompanied Minors.
•Assist in movement of crew and passengers from remote aircraft parking bays.
•Customer Service duties, including way finding and assistance for Regional Express passengers.
•Provide check-in assistance for Regional Express services at Sydney Airport.
•Wheelchair assistance for special needs passengers.
•Driving on tarmac and assistance of aircraft dispatch.
•Boarding control including airside security.
•Other procedures and activities determined on a local basis where appropriate.
•Comply with company requirements set out in company’s safety policy and standard operating procedures.

Essential Selection Criteria
•Previous customer service experience essential.
•Able to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings and weekend work.
•Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
•Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to on time performance.
•Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
•Ability to work unsupervised.
•Current NSW RSA
•Current NSW Drivers Licence
