1. Assume operational ownership of multiple aircraft programs. Drive operational efficiencies through process improvements and relationship building.

2. This position schedules customer events, instructor training, and certifications with external organizations such as the FAA and EASA and other National Aviation Authorities.

3. Management of resources including multiple simulators, instructors with varying qualifications, classrooms, and briefing spaces must be accurately tracked and utilized at appropriate levels.

4. Develops an effective production plan for the year to maximize customer throughput. This plan will be opened to the sales team and then bookings must be accurately tracked and scheduled.

5. Ensures scheduling complies with applicable requirements including FAR part 142, EASA, all NAA’s FlightSafety conducts business with and international flight training guidelines.

6. Communicates and coordinates with the Director of Training, Directors of Standards, Compliance, Program Managers, and Customer Service Representatives.

1. Work closely with Chief Instructor to promote instructor engagement and FlightSafety Quality of Life programs.

2. Coordinate with the appropriate regulatory agencies regarding all matters concerning the approval the Company’s simulator training devices and training curriculum material.

3. Ensure Instructors are informed of unique Customer training requirements and ensure compliance with those requirements during Customers’ training.

4. Participate in leadership and instructor meetings to communicate policies, procedures, and unique Customer training issues.

5. Manage department staffing levels.

6. Generate instructor schedules and effectively communicate any schedule changes to instructors and clients.

7. Review country-specific guidance for requirements and training forms.

8. Collaborate with other Logistics Managers to drive organizational improvements, exchange ideas, identify common problems, discuss solutions, promote standardization and encourage efficient Center operations.

9. Interview prospective employees, evaluate and recommend employment.

10. Perform support duties to pilot instructors to include administrative tasks, as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Aviation Management preferred

-Military operations or civilian/corporate/airline operations experienced is a plus

- A passion for Aviation

- Ability to asses change, delays, and unexpected events and quickly formulate new plans to accomplish all goals and tasks.

- Excellent computer skills to include outlook and excel, and use of scheduling software.

-Excellent communication skills to quickly express time sensitive information when dealing with dynamic situations.
