Logistics Manager

Position Description

The Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of the Shipping and Receiving Departments

Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse and transportation.

Manage the day to day functions of the department.
Handle HR related matters for assigned team members and cover for absent Lead(s).
Supervise, coach and train workforce
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Position Requirements

Proven working experience as a logistics manager
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Proficient in standard logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
