Overview

Leadership In Flight Training (LIFT) Academy is a U.S.-based commercial aviation pilot training school owned and operated by Republic Airways. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana,LIFT revolutionizes commercial aviation training, utilizing state-of-the-art, eco-friendly training technologies and systems to educate future aviators. Students receive instruction from experienced pilots, under FAA and industry standards, with the most advanced equipment and curriculum that combines flight, flight simulator, online and in-classroom training. LIFT Academy students will train on a fleet of advanced new aircraft and flight simulators produced by Diamond Aircraft Industries, including the DA40 single-engine and the DA42 twin-engine aircraft. The program will be further enhanced with Diamond Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) built to achieve the most realistic cockpit simulation environment. Duties and Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE

Meets, greets and directs all visitors, new hires and recurrent class trainees to the training center. Provides administrative andorganizational assistance in the day-to-day operations of the training departments and scheduling of assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Meets, greets and processes all visitors. Directs visitors to appropriate person or location. Prints temporary name badges for all new hires.

* Answers multi-line telephone system; responds to inquiries and directs incoming calls. Maintains Outlook Email groups.

* Maintains schedules and receives assets such as aircraft delivery, students, instructors, classrooms, etc.

* Assists with sorting and distributing daily United States Postal Service mail, internal mail and Federal-Express deliveries.

* Assists in organizing and maintaining office supplies. Coordinates with food vendor for break room snack orders.

* Coordinates Training Center catering events per month, including maintaining event schedule, placing orders, event setup and take down, and communication with vendors for accurate order counts.

* Completes other administrative &/or clerical activities such as organizing meetings; reserving AV equipment.

* Coordinates office, lab &/or building repairs & maintenance.

* Coordinates UBER transportation as needed.

* Acts as a notary public.

* Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

* Proficient in computer software skills.

* Requires at least 1 year of related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

DECISION MAKING

Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low.
