Licensed Aircraft Engineers & Mechanics

Glasgow (Base and Line)

Loganair operates a comprehensive network of scheduled and charter flights around the United Kingdom, but predominately in Scotland.  The company continues to grow and develop and it now has around 650 members of staff, in various departments, including, Engineering, Flight Operations, Ground and Customer Services, Safety and Compliance, Commercial, Finance and Operations.  We have stations throughout the United Kingdom, including: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Norwich, Kirkwall, Sumburgh, Wick, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Campbeltown, Barra, Benbecula, Tiree and Islay.

In terms of aircraft maintenance, we support EMB 145, SAAB 340, SAAB 2000, Dornier 328, Twin Otter and BN2 Islanders.

We have opportunities for B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join the engineering team at Glasgow Airport.

If you have one or more of the above noted aircraft types on your EASA license that would be welcome.  However, if you do not, that is not prohibitive as type training will be provided within our JAR 147 Training Facility for applicants, should you possess the basic license qualifications and experience.

Attractive packages are on offer for the roles, with an escalating system of approval pay as additional aircraft types and skills are learned.  In addition, other benefits include, Standard Life Group Pension, generous holiday provision, world wide staff travel, life assurance, gym membership and a wide suite of employee self-select benefits.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Brian Mitchell, Director of Human Resources.
