Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1 and B2)

Carlisle Airport

Loganair operates a comprehensive network of scheduled and charter flights around the United Kingdom, but predominately in Scotland.  The company continues to grow and develop and it now has around 650 members of staff, in various departments, including, Engineering, Flight Operations, Ground and Customer Services, Safety and Compliance, Commercial, Finance and Operations.  We have stations throughout the United Kingdom, including: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Norwich, Kirkwall, Sumburgh, Wick, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Campbeltown, Barra, Benbecula, Tiree and Islay.

We are very pleased to now invite applications from Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1 and B2) to join the team at our new Line Engineering Station at Carlisle Airport.

Applications from experienced engineers, ideally with Saab 340 on their licence would be given preference.  However, engineers who have turbo prop experience and who would be willing and able to be trained on the aircraft type, would also be most welcome to apply.  Any such training would be delivered in house by our own Part 147 Training Department in Glasgow.

Attractive packages are on offer, including an escalating system of approval pay as additional aircraft types and skills are learned.  In addition, other benefits include, Standard Life Pension, generous holiday provision, world wide staff travel, life assurance, car leasing, gym membership and a wide suite of employee self-select benefits.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Brian Mitchell, Director of Human Resources.
