You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Disposition documentation to resolve fit, form or functional issues on A/C components.
- Support to Production, Design Engineering, Procurement & Quality in coordinating resolutions to issues.
- Review & trouble shooting of A/C Systems in conjunction with Design Engineering as required.
- Review & disposition of A/C Wiring & Electrical issues in conjunction with Design Engineering as required.
- Corrective Action requests involving Engineering as required.
- Obtain & Interface with Design Engineering experts on appropriate issue resolution.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specs & provide guidance to junior employees.
- Provide status, updates & keep current on information regarding manufacturing changes & problems.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a formal education to degree level in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related field
- You have minimum ten (10) years MRB experience or design experience in Aerospace
- You have good knowledge of aircraft structure & system installation technical requirements, aircraft materials and hardware, standards and specifications
- You have electrical & Systems experience would be considered an asset
- You are energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment
- You have previous CATIA, Design and MRB experience including support to production would be considered an asset.
- You have previous experience as a Mentor and Coach in either Liaison team environment or working with problem solving teams is an asset
- This position may require shift and weekend work requirements on a rotating schedule and some travel and short-term relocation assignments.
