Within the Organizational learning team, you will report to the Manager Organizational Learning and you will act as a learning project specialist to support the learning requirements related to Bombardier new programs and international projects.

You role will mainly consist of providing a training subject matter expertise as well as technical coaching/on-the-job training for structural assembly or electrical assembly and avionic. You will assess technical skills gaps, develop and deliver adapted learning solutions which enhancing employee’s competencies and promoting Bombardier standards as well as meeting business objectives.

We are seeking learning project specialists with an expertise in one the following field:

- Aircraft Electrical assembly

- Aircraft Structural assembly

- Avionic

In your role, you will:

- Identify, advise and influence stakeholders to work towards improving human performance;
- Evaluate / validate technical skills and provide adapted learning solutions;
- Develop coaches to implement structured on the job training (SOJT) and learning instructions;
- Deliver / disseminate learning activities, such as coaching, classroom instruction and workshop training;
- Participate in problem solving sessions on human performance related issues;
- Support the development of specific skills using simulators.
- Ensure compliance against applicable Aerospace regulations and procedures (data management);
- Support the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives (AES) through learning solutions.
- Identify and mentor technical coaches in our manufacturing sites

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a minimum of fifteen years of experience in a manufacturing site related to aircraft assembly or electrical assembly and avionic, with five years of experience in learning (coaching and/or technical training)
- You are recognized high level of technical competency and credibility
- You have an excellent relational competencies, capacity to listen and communicate (written and spoken)
- You are able to build solid relationships based on mutual trust
- You are able to influence without authority and develop results oriented action plan
- You are a team player
- You have experience in continuous improvement and/or lean
- You have experience in an unionized manufacturing environment
- You are at ease with MS Office suite
- You are available to travel between Bombardier’s sites in major projects on short and/or medium term basis.
- Bilingual (French & English) is essential
