Reports to: Head of HKIA

The person in this role will be responsible for developing the airport community strategy. He/she will represent the Hong Kong International Airport(HKIA) team to interface with the Training Academy to understand the development needs of the operation.

Key Responsibilities

* Liaise with operational teams to identify training needs of ground staff

* Work with the rostering team to schedule development programmes for ground staff

* Interface with training academy on curriculum review, training programmes and schedule

* Responsible for ad-hoc workshops and exchange programmes for HKIA teams

* Responsible for the progression and promotion development processes for frontline staff

* Organise staff programmes in promoting learning culture and teamwork

* Coordinate meetings with Staff Recreation Committee members and organise recreational activates for the department

* Establish talent pool and prepare talents for attending corporate and development events

* Coordinate community events with Hong Kong Airport Authority (e.g. Chinese New Year event, talent shows etc)

* Liaise with marketing team on corporate events

Requirements

* 5+ years’ working experience in airline industry with training and organisational development experience

* Sound training needs analysis, instructional design and process facilitation skills

* Initiative to drive and follow through projects independently. Strong project and event management skills

* A good team player with understanding of airport operations and HKIA working culture

* Polished communication and interpersonal skills with excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

* Computer literacy of MS applications and Chinese word processing

* Understand roster and skill pools of HKIA Ground staff

* Exposure to airport operations and customers service standards

* Experience as an Airport Line Trainer is a plus
