Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a role to support and enable the Dublin Airport Senior Management Team to effectively deliver on their strategic agenda. This role reports to the Head of Strategy (DAP) for support and direction in carrying out the work programme while working closely with the MD Dublin Airport. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the MD in their goal to drive and enable best-in-class leadership behaviours across Dublin Airport.

This is a developmental role with a duration of 18 months to 2 years. The ideal candidate will be at manager level with the ambition and potential to work at senior management level in the future and will benefit from dedicated coaching and mentorship from the MD Dublin Airport.

Qualifications

* Relevant 3rd level business degree in Consulting, Economics, Finance, or business-related field (Relevant experience also considered) with experience at manager level
* Self-starter with proven ability to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining focus on vision and purpose of work outputs.
* Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-term goals.
* Experience in managing diverse work-streams, prioritising effectively and working to shifting deadlines
* Proven organisational skills with project management knowledge and ability. Project management qualification beneficial but not required.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel to intermediate/ advanced level preferred
* Analytical mind-set with effective problem-solving skills
* Proven experience influencing teams with the ability to buid credibility quickly
* Confident communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Exceptional customer relationship management skills
* Experience managing and developing a team.
* Proven commitment to daa values and strategic targets

Responsibilities

* Support the MD for Dublin Airport in developing an ambitious leadership-focused team which supports the wider organisation
* Responsible for the development and management of a work programme which drives the SMT to achieve annual priorities
* Responsible for the development and promotion of an intra-team engagement programme to support cross-functional collaboration, join working and broader team alignment.
* Manage the monthly scorecard for Dublin Airport and ensure team alignment to our annual priorities
* Support and contribute to the definition, documentation and assisting in key projects and annual initiatives as designated by the various teams (E.G. Annual Budgetary Process, Strategy Review, Submission on Regulatory Determination)
* Promote the use of data and analytics to drive efficiencies in the business.
* Review process optimisation for the Senior Management Team. Advise on organisation structure and value optimisation measures in close collaboration with other activity lines including Finance, Commercial, Operations, Capacity Planning &Economic Regulation, Strategy, AMD, Asset Care.
* Ensure that monthly and ad hoc reporting appropriately represents business unit performance and priorities, leveraging team capabilities to achieve comprehensive reporting structure.
* Assess business plans and financial metrics for projects on an ongoing basis
* Support with communications across the business and externally
* Act as a key point of contact with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders as necessary
* Be flexible to support the wider Dublin Airport general management team as and when needed
