About us:

Crew Planning Services is responsible for the short to long-term planning for Flight and Cabin Crew for our regional, domestic, short and long haul international operations. Our department comprises of a dedicated team of crew analysts, crew training planners and crew roster planners responsible for the provision, advice and delivery of aircrew rosters and to support the coordination and planning of crew training requirements.

We are now embarking on the next exciting steps of our journey and our team is evolving. This is a great opportunity to lead your team as we go through a series of changes to better support our work groups and offer greater operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About the role:

In this newly created role as Leader Crew Training, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing our Flight and Cabin Crew Team Leaders and members to ensure training and planning requirements are adhered to in an efficient and effective manner. You will ensure the team deliver compliant, safe rosters and crew training records and that any regulatory changes are implemented into the roster production cycle.

You will use your strong interpersonal skills to communicate with, manage and build strong collaborative relations with all key stakeholders and customers. Strong collaboration is key to this role as you work closely to deliver optimal training plans for our Flight and Cabin Crew, regularly communicating with management and external stakeholders.

A focus on continuous improvement is key, always championing better, you will be constantly on the lookout for better ways of working.

About you:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

* A proven track record of effective people leadership and management skills

* Ability to build relationship across all levels of the business

* Highly developed planning, organising and problem-solving skills

* Experience working within a high pressure operational environment, preferably airlines

* Proficiency in MS Suite of Products

* Knowledge of all CASA and company regulations with regards to Cabin and Tech Crew licensing and training

* Ability to interpret training requirements for both Flight and Cabin Crew as determined by Training Standards and CASA

* Knowledge of aircrew resource management systems and optimisation systems, preferable

* Working knowledge of resource planning processes, theories and methodologies
