After another exciting year of growth for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, we have some great opportunities for Lead Ramp Agents to join our Ground Operations Team at East Midlands Airport.
Our Lead Ramp Agents are responsible for the efficient supervision of all Jet2.com flights at the airport during the day to day arrivals and departures operations.
Based at East Midlands Airport and reporting to the Ramp Duty Managers, you will be responsible for the effective distribution of duties amongst the Ramp Team for each allocated flight. In addition to ensuring all specialist airside vehicles and operational equipment at the airfield is in the right place at the right time, you will think safety at all times, putting the safety of you, your colleagues and our customers first every time. Getting our aircraft in the sky on time is an important part in ensuring customer satisfaction and this role plays a vital part in achieving our On Time Performance targets. You will be responsible for communicating all relevant information to the Team through regular Team briefs and for reporting any incidents or operational issues to the Ramp Supervisor on shift, in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will have ramp handling experience and a sound knowledge of a wide range of ramp duties including pushbacks, marshalling and headsets. With experience of coaching others, you will have excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead and motivate your colleagues. You will be a supportive team player with a positive and flexible approach. You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and be able to pass a Medical.
