Role Summary:
In the role of Lean Project Leader, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. The Lean Project Leader will support the global On Wing Support Organization consisting of 10 locations around the world to drive a consistent and coherent lean strategy, with a key focus on the Grand Prairie, TX location where the role is located.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the Lean Project Leader, you will:

* Act as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow technology utilizing state of the art tools and methodologies

* Establish and implement team strategies, programs, and practices to achieve world class manufacturing inventory turns and process flow

* Lead multiple Demand Flow Technology teams and drive best practices in process design and implementation

* Advise and counsel leaders on issues impacting inventory and work in process flow

* Establish visual management tools and methods to pull product through the work cells and flow line processes

* Assist in the training, data gathering, and analysis

* Assist in work cell and product flow design and implementation

* Provide leadership to high performance work teams in driving lean initiatives and obtaining greenbelt certification

* Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools

* Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with 4 years of experience in a lean manufacturing role)

* Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Demand Flow Technology and make-to-order concepts, Just-in-Time, and pull production environments

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

* Ability and availability to travel at least 50% of your schedule
