JOBSUMMARY
This position requires a strongknowledge of aircraft airframe, avionics and electronics systems. This job includes varying amounts of partsreplacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting and General :
mechanicalapplications. Supervision of the teamand direction of project flow will be a primary function. Work order processing, log book, entries,required FAA forms and pricing to the customers are routine duties. Job duties will vary each day and willencompass projects as designated by Installations Manager. Will be required to work independently andlead multiple projects. Will have directcustomer contact.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Thisshall include, but not be limited to items such as removal and installation ofpanels, components and interiors, as well as repair work on avionicsinstallations.
Stamp,bundle and install connectors on wiring.
Removalof old wiring and installation of new wire bundles in aircraft.
Troubleshootingand evaluation of avionics systems on the aircraft efficiently.
Inspectionand evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated.
Aircraftmovement and assistance in hangar stack when required.
Maintenanceand repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling when required.
Leador work independently on projects on a regular basis.
Workwithin a team process and lead team members.
Anyother job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Electronics training classes.
Avionics system factory trainingrequired.
Experience
5 year prior experience on aircraftavionics maintenance installations preferred.
3 years turbine aircraft experience.
Experience in supervision of othertechnicians.
FAA paperwork, work order and billingprocess experience.
Initiative
Self-motivated and able to maintain arapid pace.
Able to process work with minimumsupervision.
Ability to lead and provide incentiveto other team members.
Able to deal directly with customers,including with areas of conflict.
Responsibility
Must perform all work in accordancewith Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Follow all company and safety rulesduring performance of duties.
Maintain customer oriented work habits.
Supervision of team members in dailyoperations and duties.
Completion of work orders, FAApaperwork and billing items.

Physical Requirements
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Routine walking, bending andsquatting or sitting.
Routing or repetitive physical motionwith arms and hands.
Mental Requirements
Understanding and implementation ofregulations and guidelines.
Ability to follow wiring diagrams,route and terminate wires at proper locations.
Ability to troubleshoot, evaluate andperform functional tests for various avionics and instrument systems.
Ability to work with others in aprofessional manner.
Supervision
Will work under supervision of the Avionics Program Manager.
May be directed to supervise othertechnicians in some capacity.
Work with minimal supervision whenrequired.
Work with other Team Leaders onmultiple projects in a cooperative manner.Working Conditions : The majority of work will beaccomplished in a heated hangar.
Work outside during aircraft runswill occur.
Varied positions in and around theaircraft.
