Key Account Manager Online Travel Agents

The role as Key Account Manager Online Travel Agents will be part of SAS Strategic Contracting team within Global Sales. The position has a global responsibility to drive sales growth and increased market share in external online agent channels (OTA) and will be the main contact for important OTA partners. This role also includes responsibility for contracting, negotiations and to secure best commercial agreements and highest ROI with Strategic OTAs.

What you will do:

* Drive global OTA Sales

* Negotiations, contracting and owning commercial relationships with OTA partners within portfolio

* Budget and target setting within the OTA sales channel (revenue and cost)

* Initiate and coordinate global OTA marketing campaigns and secure maximum ROI (includes cross-functional collaboration with SAS Marketing department).

* Continuous follow up on sales forecast/performance and financial results per OTA agent and market within portfolio

* Lead the global cross-market “Online Leisure Agent Sales Forum”

* Operational representation for Global Sales in internal projects for e.g. new concepts and products to secure that Agent Sales perspective is being aligned

* When required, lead strategic projects within the Global Sales department.

* Contribute to the digitalization of the Global Sales department.

* Drive SAS Agent Sales development and being an internal sales expert with regards to areas like Branded Fares, Rich Content and Ancillary Products via Leisure Online Booking Tools. The purpose is to secure optimization of sales.

* Close collaboration with SAS Distribution department with regards to saleability and new channels, including operational representation for sales in settings connected to new channels, NDC and other distribution areas.

Education & Experience:

* Business, Marketing or other relevant University degree

* At least 2 years relevant working experience from travel / e-commerce sector

* Online Marketing competence

* Experience from managing strategic partnerships and competence about the online travel industry is a big advantage

* Knowledge about airline/agent sales and distribution is a big advantage

* Proven track record of reaching set targets (revenue and cost).

* Customer focused, data driven, pro-active and innovative Experience from driving cross-functional projects

* Advanced negotiation skills and experience from complex negotiations

* Excellent communication skills and both verbal and written presentation technique, in both English and the Scandinavian languages

* Ability to travel

As a person you have a strong can-do attitude and the drive to constantly seek improvements. You gladly take own initiatives and are strong on execution. We also believe you are customer focused, data driven and have a strong analytic sense.

In this role you would also need well-developed social skills and you are an excellent communicator and relationship builder (both internally and externally) who earns the confidence of other – and not to forget – have a good sense of humour!
