Overview

The Key Account Executive will work as part of a busy team responsible for the rotable distribution within the SIM work-stream during both implementation and delivery phases of the easyJet contract. The role holder will be required to ensure that we are delivering customer service performance in line with contractual requirements. In addition, the role holder will need to be proactive and contribute towards any problem-solving/root-cause determination meetings to ensure we are continuously meeting or exceeding performance and identifying areas for improvement.

This is a key customer-facing position which will involve regular contact with easyJet. As part of this contact, you will be required to develop and present performance information to easyJet as well as coordinate and prioritise their needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

* Management of the easyJet’s demands/status report
* Co-ordinating the delivery of rotable demands.
* Component distribution: prioritisation and issuing of easyJet serviceable inventory.
* Internal expedite of both component repairs and to ensure the supply of materials to meet easyJet demands.
* Sourcing of components to meet priority demands and avoid delays in the operation of the easyJet fleet.
* Maintain communication with the easyJet’s maintenance control organisation, including contributing to the regular conference calls with senior management as required.
* Become a key user of AMOS, easyJet’s in-house software
* Monitor and report any failure of the I.T. interfaces with AJW software.
* Maintain performance reporting in relation to contractual service levels.
* Identification and implementation of improvements in the delivery of services in conjunction with specialist support.
* Working to contractual Performance Indications.

To carry out any miscellaneous job-related duties as deemed necessary by the Director of Contract Services.

Person Specification

* Demonstrable experience of working effectively in a busy team environment.
* Strong commercial acumen together with the ability to take a considered decision in a timely manner.
* The ability to manage conflicting priorities, needs and requirements.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high work volumes effectively
* Flexibility to work different shift-patterns including the possibility of weekends.
* Target focused and driven
* Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing
* Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships
* Previous experience or knowledge of critically reviewing processes with a view to identifying and implementing potential efficiencies.
* Good IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Outlook
* Previous experience within the Commercial Aviation industry would be desirable, particularly in a component trading or a MRO environment.
* Relevant professional qualification would be desirable.
