Junior Industry Relation Manager APAC

As the Junior IR Manager - Asia Pacific (from our office in Singapore) you are responsible for coordinating and Managing daily operational follow-ups with Airlines and Consolidators across the Asia Pacific region. Your daily tasks will consist of assisting the IR Director to negotiate contracts or special rates with Airlines or Consolidators. Internally, you will communicate closely with Pricing and Operations to implement required strategies as negotiated with the airlines. Ensure all the commission contracts / Special deals are featured and priced competitively. Furthermore, coordinate with the Campaign and Content team with inputs for them to create campaigns for our airline partners. You will also work directly with our airline partners and Consolidators to maintain the ongoing relationship and strive for better contracts and rates. You are data-driven in your setting of priorities and targets, and present results in a clear and objective manner to track the results at the end of every contract. You have an understanding of Airline business and Commission earning across the Asia Pacific region and also aware of the competition practices in the region.

The challenge:

You operate within the regional Singapore-based team, liaising Pricing, Operations, Global Marketing and Airline partners to build relationships and implement daily operations requirements.

You know the Competition in Asia Pacific countries and are able to communicate and negotiate similar deals with Airlines and Consolidators. And Internally update and communicate with Pricing & Marketing with the practices.

*

You monitor sales performance to achieve results and targets as contracted with Airlines by coordinating with Pricing team.

What you bring to the role:

*

Fluent English; additional Asian languages preferable

*

Bachelor or Master Degree is preferred

*

Experience in Airlines or Travel Agency sales

*

Working Knowledge of Amadeus or Any GDS is a must

*

IATA Certified and aware of Airlines business

*

Understands Pricing and fares structures

*

Knowledge in client relationship management, account management

*

Flexible, proactive and inventive

*

Experience with Google Analytics is a plus

*
