This role is within our Product team and you will be in direct collaboration with the Commercial teams, Technology and other stakeholders across the business. The Product and Technology team is responsible for delivering all our products to market. Together with our stakeholders, we define the product strategy for our global websites. The customer is at the heart of everything we do. We continuously enhance, test and improve our offering of services to grow our business and deliver an excellent experience throughout the customer journey.

As the Junior Business Rules Analyst at Travix, you’ll be responsible for developing new business logic and enhancing existing rules through a variety of tools which help our business to keep pace with changing marketplace conditions and our customer’s needs.

You will spend your day speaking with the business teams to understand their requirements, you’ll work alongside our pricing teams to help make our websites more profitable, with our product support teams to ensure we are compliant with airlines and industry regulations. You’ll work with our engineering teams to help determine how business rules should be implemented for new products and features and our financial teams to improve the accuracy of their data and reporting. In this role, you’ll be contributing to several major projects at any given time and be a critical link between those driving our profits and those building our software and products.

Responsibilities

Develop, testing and debugging business rules and logic to manage our products and features

*

Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to understand business requirements

*

Engage with business users to improve our existing business rulesets

*

Facilitating and completing UAT of all new or enhanced rules prior to any live deployment

*

Maintaining the operational testing environment and rule set version controls

*

Documenting business rule and logic changes for both existing rule enhancements and new rules

What you bring to the table

*

Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Business or IT, ideally you’ve taken introductory courses in Algorithms, Economics and Statistics

*

Rudimentary coding skills

*

Experience working with astronomical amounts of data

*

Experience with using any Business Rules Management System software would be advantageous

*

Ability to interpret and simplify complex business requirements and discuss them with various stakeholders

*
