Job Summary:

Identify and resolve complex IT software, hardware and telephony issues. Design, install, configure, administer, and fine-tuning systems and components across the organization in a timely and efficient manner. Work can include image creation, image management, standard help desk ticket resolution, and project support.

Major Responsibilities:

PROJECTS

* May lead, coordinate, and participate in complex projects and key process improvement initiatives for all IT environments throughout the organization.
* Participate in the design and review of new systems and application deployments. This includes the developing of automated imaging and application deployments.
* Implement integration for non-Windows operating environments.
* Recommend and execute modifications to systems in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
* Provide technical input regarding hardware standardization.
* Develop and maintain systems documentation for educating end users and IT staff.
* Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop enterprise computing hardware and software standards.
* Implement standardization roadmaps, coordinating with IT personnel and managing vendor resources through the delivery lifecycle.
* Identify and implement leading practices and enhancements for Windows, Mac, and iOS environments.
* Work can include help desk ticket resolution, equipment deployment and project support.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

* Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex user support hardware and tier 1-3 software problems including end-user desktop PCs, Telephony and enterprise data servers.
* Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user telephony, hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
* Ensure that IT systems comply with established policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.
* Review and deploy new service packs, hot fixes, system updates, and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices.
* Enterprise Windows 7 and 10 Migration and Deployment Experience Required
* Technical knowledge of internal desktop components, including Graphics adapters, Hard Drives, Sound cards, NIC’s, PSU’s, SCSI adapters, SATA adapters, USB, WNIC’s etc.
* Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions as needed.
* Ensure that workstations comply with established policies, standards, licensing agreements, and configuration guidelines.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

* Advanced Technical IT experience and problem solving within a technical team environment
* Enterprise Windows 7 and 10 Migration and Deployment Experience Required.
* Enterprise migration and deployment experience required.
* Demonstrable strong customer service skills.
* Advanced technical knowledge of internal computing and telephony components.
* Strong familiarity with VOIP, DNS and TCP/IP networking.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Apple computing expertise requested.
* Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required.
* Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Works on problems of diverse to complex scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of variable factors.
* Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Education/Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or Certification. A 2-year degree or certification with a combination of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
* Minimum 5 years relevant work experience required to include experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 7, Windows 10 and related Windows networks.
* Industry certifications, such as MCSA, MCSE, ITIL, etc. are very desirable.

Other Requirements:

* Sitting for extended periods of time.
* On-call availability for approximately 4 weeks a year.
* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
* Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals up to 50lbs.
