Task responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering IT services, solutions and support to Flight Operations upon their requirements (end users and management level)
Govern the flight operations applications, like AIMS, for Cargolux in accordance with the IT corporate governance model
Orchestrate the community of key users (capture requirements and pain points, deliver solutions, organize training and support)
Promote innovation, automation and improvements, in accordance with corporate Enterprise Architecture
Lead the implementation of new software products, changes, further developments as projects
Manage the service and relation with the IT partners
Ensure adoption by end users, leveraging relationship with management

Essential requirements for the position:

University degree in computer science/ computer engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in information technology in equivalent airline/ industry businessIn depth flight operations solutions (AIMS) knowledge in terms of implementation, administration and operations
Experience in IT solution design and architectureProject an test management experience (certification an asset)
Service Management experience with focus on incident, problem, change, service quality and vendor management
Experience in supporting of system key users
Advanced level in written and spoken English language, any other language is considered as advantage
Ability to teamwork in a distributed and multicultural environment
Problem resolution capabilities and open-mindedness toward creative solutionsInterpersonal & communication skills

Work conditions

Position based in Luxembourg
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
