POSITION SUMMARY Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the Technical Service Department as Invoice and Warranty Processing Supervisor at the facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This position will be responsible for carrying out processes to support and ensure the tactical and strategic execution of Invoice and Warranty processing for the operation. This position will supervise the Invoicing and Warranty team functions, personnel, policies, procedures, and processes. The person for this position will be able to negotiate favorable outcomes to settle invoice and warranty disputes, and will have a general understanding of accounts payable and invoice coding to the correct accounts. This role reports directly to the Reliability and Warranty Manager. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform supervisory responsibilities, including, disciplinary actions, PMP, training and certifications, work assignments, scheduling vacation, monitoring attendance, review, and approve personnel actions.
Assist in production, review and submission of Maintenance budgets & forecasts by providing reports and details to Finance Planning and Analysis
Review and reconcile monthly inter-company statement from Flexjet
Identify and act upon cost recovery opportunities
Oversee the invoice review/validation and warranty claim process
Develop process in conjunction with maintenance control, business analysts and other areas of the business to capture, report and recover rework items
Work with Insurance Risk Analyst to develop process to capture and recover insurance items up front to eliminate rework for insurance items.
Review 3rd Party Maintenance and Parts Invoices
Update Cost & Recovery data Base for items that require credit (Warranty/Engines/Smart Parts)
Perform other duties as required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations or related field, or equivalent work experience
Five plus years of experience in Operations, Accounting and/or Cost Analysis and Recovery Functions
Three years aircraft technical experience
Three plus years of progressive lead or supervisory experience
Experience managing processes in an operations environment, accounting, budgeting principles, and financial reports
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment
Previous aviation experience desired
