Job Description

Reporting to:                    Global Head of Warehouse and Transportation

Job objectives:                 To develop, implement and monitor the warehouse and transportation scope for Airbus internal business, when the Airbus internal business unit has indicated they want the company as their supplier of choice, while ensuring cost and performance transparency for both parties.

Area of Work and responsibilities

Primary duties:  

• Answer to Airbus Internal RFP’s determine if the customer warehouse network has capacity or capability to support a business proposition

  • Identify, based on current & future network capabilities the potential leads for targeted sales effort
  • Create business case and pricing model (FTE cost plus, Transaction Cost, Open Book etc) - Interfacing with Central and Local Finance, (model to include costing and implementation of equipment or infrastructure to manage business (Racking / VSM’s / Forklifts etc)
  • Manage legal framework and SLA with the customer’s Legal team and Local entity Legal
  • Manage offers though deal and approval process within the customer’s Exec Team
  • Lead implementation of Business and support local warehouse and transport teams for contract go live
  • Document processes in the customer’s CMS / Symbio
  • Work with local quality to ensure segregation standards are met
  • Manage IT infrastructure and systems to support go live interacting with appropriate IT BU’s
  • Evolve Processes to become closer to the customer Standard, review options to moves business onto the customers’ ERP and systems
  • Manage integration of Business into Warehouse and Transport Org i.e. Ops Team
  • Manage MBR’s / QBR’s and Exec Reviews for internal business lines
  • Manage AOP and WDM model, cross check actual financials with planned to ensure full customer Cost Coverage Manage change requests coming from BU’s
  • Manage the Change Request (CR) process for changes to process and costing
  • Build and maintain strong customer satisfaction through quick response times as well as qualified responses to all customer requests and inquiries
  • Maintain customer records

Additional information:

Whilst you will be based in the London offices, this role will include travel for up to 3 months per year to Europe, United States and Singapore sites.
