Description

Reporting to the Lead Architect, Distribution Program, the incumbent is an integral part of the Distribution team. Primary responsibilities are to support the Distribution team in managing Standard-setting activities and projects in the Technology/Implementation streams.

Responsibilities

Carry out research and development around on-going changes to Distribution standards in line with Leaderboard priorities;

- Developing and maintaining internal software tools for supporting the Developer Community;

- Providing content for Implementation support, e.g. illustrating message schema concepts;

- Online implementation forum moderation and participation in forum threads. includes gamification;

- Develop and maintain the FAQ based on feedback from NDC and ONE Order Implementers;

- Assist team members in capturing findings from implementers;

- Providing support for producing technical presentations;

- Assist team members in keeping the NDC and ONE Order Developer Portal website updated with latest content;

- Providing support to team members in delivering Distribution Programs events.

Qualifications and Skills

- Studying for University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other IT-related field;

- Experience with XML technologies (e.g. XSD) / Software and Data Modeling (e.g. in UML);

- Software development skills with ability to produce rapid prototypes / Proof Of Concepts in various technical fields;

- Strong organizational skills;

- Attention to details and ability to provide concise summaries and explanations;

- Highly motivated, self-starter and team player, with ability to work and be effective in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly demanding environment, whilst meeting tight deadlines;

- Ability to build co-operative relationships with peers, team, and internal stakeholders, in a global multi-cultural environment;

- Some experience in web-design and related scripting languages is a plus;

- Good communication skills;

- Excellent level of English (written, spoken) is essential, knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
