Located at Bradley International Airport, Bombardier Business Aircraft’s Hartford Service Centre offers a great place to learn from the best in business aviation. Established in February, 1981 as a 70,000 sq ft facility with a staff of 16, the facility now boasts 198,000 sq ft and over 235 dedicated employees. It is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, including interior modifications, avionics installations, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft. The Service Centre has received certifications from FAA, EASA, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands and Mexico. The facility has received 16 consecutive FAA Diamond Awards and is actively involved in the Hartford community, spearheading programs to create awareness about aviation maintenance among local students and to help close the gender gap in the industry.

In your role, you will:

• Support coordination and planning of scheduled aircraft maintenance visits
• Perform a variety of routine clerical and administrative support duties: printing and assembling work packages, data management, reports
• Schedule and help coordinate pre-induction meetings
• Assist with audits, updating schedules and capacity charts, communication with internal customers, identifying and ordering parts and materials.
• Learn about Bombardier aircraft maintenance programs, Bombardier Aerospace Systems, Proposal and Sales processes, Scheduling and Capacity Planning, factors influencing aircraft visit span times and intricacies involving aircraft work packages.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access)
• You have the availability to work Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am – 5pm (average 20-30 hours per week)
• You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree (focus on Aviation, Business, Management or Engineering preferred)
• You have strong communication skills: written and verbal , editing ability a plus
• You have organizational skills: ability to prioritize and work independently, attention to detail, meet deadlines, multitask and balance various assignments
• You have interpersonal skills: work in team of dynamic individuals, ability to remain professional through stressful situations
• You have excellent customer service skills
